Blogging From A To Z: D is for...

Daredevil

When I started collecting again, this was one series I picked up.  I had a few from the classic run in my collection, but only started buying it monthly when Kevin Smith was writing it.

This is my favorite Daredevil cover....even though it represents the change in comic book covers from giving you a sneak peak as to what was going on inside and instead just becoming glorified pin-ups.

(And yes, I do have a soft spot for the movie....)

  2. Don't know if the title of your blog is a reference to Luke Skywalker flying down the Death Star trench, but I took it that way. My 20 year old son has just become a comic book nut so I can relate. New Follower, waving to you from the 600's in the A to Z Challenge.

  3. Ohmygod, is your challenge theme comic books?! That's awesome. My novel is a parody of comic books and superheroes. LOVE this. Awesome blog and total new follower.

  4. Hello,
Daredevil was my dad's favorite as a kid, Batman as well. He said because they were the more normal and 'down to earth' super heros.
I have a soft spot for DD the movie as well.
Good luck with your Challenge! I'm interested in learning about superhero and comics I may have never heard of...I wasn't interested as a child and don't have time now, but I'm curious!
