30 Songs in 30 Days: Day 28 – A song that makes you feel guilty

I am writing this post early, so I am not sure how The Squid or Marc will be handling this one.

This song was another one that started to push me and my life in a new direction.  It contained a couple of  lines that I shared with...someone.  Their reaction gave me the strength to change things with...someone else.  (I am not trying to be cryptic....I just....can't).

"I'm so alone, and I feel just like somebody else.
Man, I ain't changed, but I know I ain't the same."

The guilt I feel is looking at the way things turned out....and wishing I had found the strength sooner.  I really am so happy with where my life is now (and I know everything happens for a reason....) but what if it could have happened sooner.

Enjoy!

  1. Reading between the lines is fun...

Things do happen for a reason. I think back on highly questionable decisions I've made in my life and often wonder if I should have made different choices. Then I look at the two lovely ladies with whom I share my life now. How can I possibly regret anything?

Life has worked out pretty darn well for you, too, sir.
