Luke's Change: An Inside Job

I am not a conspiracy theorist but I do understand why some people are.  From what I understand, this is a parody of a 9/11 documentary.  With the exception of a MAJOR mispronunciation, this is so well done!

It made the rounds before the A to Z Challenge....I am not sure where I first saw it...perhaps HERE

‘Emma’ By Le Trefle

My mom sent me this via e-mail a few weeks back.  It makes me think of the Dunder-Mifflin commercial from "The Office" episode "Local Ad"...."Limitless paper in a paperless world."

Silly Saturday: July 28, 2012

"Whoever did this should win the Academy Award for Best Film Editing. How long did it take to edit this together? I'd say there are over 400 cuts, and each one is precisely perfect. The maker of this had to find all these clips from 6 very long films. And that includes enduring 2 movies with Hayden Christensen in them.

Well done."

Ghostbusters Trailer: Inception Style!

Still haven't seen "Inception" (It is FINALLY on tap for this weekend!) but I find this a clever mash up!

The family-friendly trailer for The Shining....

This trailer is pitch perfect! It looks like any of those "Dad-works-too-hard-loses-his-way-and-his-family-and-they-take-a-vacation-and-find-themselves!" type of movies. Great choice for music, voice over and scenes.

Jabba The Hutt

While my wife and I have given up on "Parks and Rec", I must say this parody is the funniest thing I have seen related to the show!

Big thanks to VASmacky...

Looks like young Skywalker has a bit of the OCD. I can't decide if this is something Uncle Owen instilled in him, or savagely beat him for while he was growing up on Tatooine. Probably the latter. (Via Unique Daily)

"Male Prima Donna" by Subtle Sexuality

While I have known about my resemblance to the Nard Dog for over a year now, I have really only explored that connection on Facebook. Once I saw his prominent role in this AMAZING video, I just had to post it.

Star Trek Meets Monty Python

My interest in both of these have waned in recent years, but both will always hold a spot in my heart. Both got me through difficult times and helped me relate to people who are my oldest and dearest friends.

Either way, this was pretty funny!

Obama Named Country Music Entertainer of the Year

Surprise Selection Shocks Nashville

NASHVILLE (The Borowitz Report) - President Barack Obama stunned the country music world today by picking up its highest honor, Country Music Entertainer of the Year.

Mr. Obama was chosen unanimously, according to the Country Music Association, beating out such favorite as Carrie Underwood and Toby Keith.

In Nashville, country music insiders were shocked by Mr. Obama's selection, given that he has only been in office for eight months and during that time has yet to record a single country song.

But Mr. Obama was gracious in receiving the honor, saying that he was "honored and humbled" by the award before excusing himself to accept this year's Heisman Trophy.
