Deleted "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi" scene

Apparently George Lucas was on "The Daily Show" and announced ANOTHER re-release of the original "Star Wars" movies. He showed this scene that was cut from "Return Of The Jedi" which shows Darth Vader attempting to tempt Luke Skywalker to the Dark Side as Luke is building his new lightsaber. Mark Hammil has said that he is not in the scene, that it is his stand-in or stunt double. Either way, it is kind of cool to see these sorts of things.

  1. Very cool. Very, very cool... I rewatched ROTJ about a month ago and I was struck 1) how well it holds up; 2) how less annoying the Ewoks are; 3) how magnificent the third act is, with the space battle and the confrontation on the Death Star.

I like too the "mystic" vibe Luke puts out early on (and sadly loses), first on Tatooine. This deleted scene seems to harken to a more mysterious, darker characterization of Luke.
