Tampa Bay Devil Ray (and Red Sox nemesis) Evan Longoria turns 24 today. He has run up an impressive resume for such a young player. However, I will always remember when he turned up in our Fantasy Baseball league in 2008 that Lee called him EVA Longoria. To me, he will always be Eva.

I was *so* proud of the Philly Phans who chanted "Eeeee vaaa, Eeeee vaaa" at Mr. Longoria during the Phillies' run to the 2008 World Championship. Longoria was a young prospect when I made my dumb play on words, and now he's a solid player.
