He-Man "What's Up?"
Growing up I just missed the He-Man craze. I did, however, fully embrace The Four Non-Blondes craze. I remember everyone dressing up like Christa Hillhouse and Shaunna Hall and quoting the subtle and heartfelt lyrics of Linda Perry. Always arguing over which drummer better suited the group, Wanda Day or Dawn Richardson. It was a crazy, heady time that I won't soon forget.

That was fantastic. I missed He-Man and Transformers. I was a Star Wars and GI Joe (Real American Hero) kid.
ReplyDeleteI also have to add that I hated 4-Non Blondes SO MUCH. The band's name, the lead singer trying SO damn hard to look like an extra in a Tim Burton movie: "Dig my top hat! And my WWII aviator goggles perched on it! And my nose ring! And my crazy freaking eyes! And my vocal range! Wanna here my sing way up high? OH MY GOD DO I PRAY!"
Yuck!
