RED SOX GUARANTEED PLAYOFF SPOT WITH5-4 WIN OVER INDIANS
The 2007 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox are headed back to the playoffs. The Red Sox wrapped up their fifth postseason berth in six years with a 5-4 win over the Cleveland Indians Tuesday night at Fenway Park. Kevin Youkilis started things off by launching a two-run homer into the Green Monster seats in the fourth inning, and Dustin Pedroia hit a two-run double as part of the Red Sox's three-run fifth. That was enough to support starter Tim Wakefield and some impressive bullpen work.
